I shoot regularly with Hornady A-Max. My .308 Remy likes them and if the rifle does then so do I. But there is, for me, a hidden factor in the nice bright red polycarb tip.. that of clear identity.
I get the chance to devote as much time as I'd like to load developement and I think that I'd rather load in batches of 10 or 20 rounds.
Can anyone point me in the direction of other makes of ballistic tipped bullet heads? I shoot between 168 and 180 grains depending on the distance/weather etc.
One thing though, I don't have expanding ammo on my ticket at the moment (this will change in September..) so the heads must be 'target' spec (like A-Max..;) )
