No idea on the cheapest price, but have you considered the RCBS Chargemaster? It gets the best reviews. e.g. this one (http://www.6mmbr.com/powderdispensers01.html)

Interesting - I was looking at ordering an RCBS soon.
In what way is it better?

SmartReloader.com has the Lyman 1200 DPS 3 in stock for £270.59 and midwayuk.com have it for £239.99

The best buy seems to be from the US though - midwayusa.com has them (in 220 volt) for $296.99 - yep £150 + pnp!

And import duty and handling fee ;)

Opticswharehouse looks cheapest so far at £199 and £10 postage.

Figures........... the bloke is unpredictable

A couple of my mates wont use him again as he can be stand-offish at the best of times.

Me I'm happy with the kit and £10 doesnt take the shine off  though I will think twice before buying any pricey kit from him again.

Glad you find him stand off ish i thought it was just me !

What is the lyman like speed wise ?

Figures quoted on the net show the dps 2 to be half as slow as the rcbs one is it faster than using manual scales ?

Well he likes you more than me :D

The Lyman from a newbies point of view is an awesome bit of kit. I have cut down my loading time by 50% and I ran a chrono test with Paul C present the other day and the figures were very impressive compared to hand loading, something like 20 - 50 fps across 20 shots.

The 30 minute warm up can be a pain in the arse and cleaning the thing is a nightmare, Paul has told me to stop turning the thing upside down and shaking it !!:D
