I have a Smith & Wesson 586 with all 3 different length barrels but really dont get on with the CO2 side of it and was looking to swap for a spring pistol,HW45 or similar, and have been offered a Predom Luznik (sp??)
Now i know diddly squat when it comes to pistols and im really not sure whether this would be a good swap or not.....to be honest im not liking the look of the Predom but if its a finacially sound swap then thats ok.
What the pistoleers of the BBS think?? Good swap, bad swap??
All the best
Vince:)

HW45 makes 5.5lb torque, just under the legal limit, not many pistols do this, I would say go for it ! :)

Have to say you wouldn't do much better than the 45 but it's whether you'd get a swap....:)...that's why I say sell then buy what you want.
Advertise in the "wanted" for a swap...worth a try...;)

A 686 with all three barrels should go like hot cakes, would be surprised if it was around long. if i wasn't saving for a target pistol i would have it and sell my 586.

Financially? Its not far off. Maybe a touch light on your side, but not so much as to be taking the mickey. IIRC I bought a boxed predom for I think about £120.

Its a funny pistol to get if you don't really like it though. Don't assume its as good as a LP53, its not.

Don't suppose you fancy a Weihrauch HW40??...thats a single-stroke-pneumatic...I fancy a change and haven't tried the Smith & Wesson yet...let me know what you think....;)

torque is turning force that doesn't to airgun power lever:)

.177 hw45's do about 5ft.lbs....personally i'd sell the S&W:)
