Not required, although if you are reloading expanding ammo you might want to up your 'hold' and 'buy' conditions on your FAC since expanding heads count towards your ammo allocation whether they are assembled into rounds or not.

Since they normally come in boxes of 100 or 250 you can quickly amass an apparently huge stockpile of ammo, which impresses plod

They may not be entered onto your ticket (they dont in Suffolk either) but Sec 5 expanding heads count towards your 'hold' allowance whether assembled into a functioning round or sat in their box

FMJ dont but expanding do

God knows why, go figure

its only expanding ammo that has to be entered on your ticket and only aloud to purchase the amount of expanding ammo that your entitiled to purchase on your ticket but non expanding ammo you can purchase as much as you like work that one out lol.

but i would say if your reloading to keep a record of how many your reloading so u have proof you are using that caliber of weapon cause if you dont have proof they may want to take of you claming your not using that weapon no record of ammo purchased for it and no record of you reloading for that caliber...

I have had my FAC since 1951 and have 5 C/F rifles + 1 Rimfire on it.
For each of these calibres I can possess 500 rounds or purchase up to 300 at any time.
Locally bullet heads are always written in and at most places I go to it is the same.
When I get a F/O check or bullet count on a form they only want loaded ammo listed and not ingredients.
I do not think any dealer would sell me FMJ loaded ammo without entering it on my ticket, after-all that is the legal ammo to kill humans under the Geneva Convention.
