Here,s a shot of 5 shots @ 75 yards with the 100 k in .177 using ftt trophy,s
http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk260/mikee-h-/DSC_0092.jpg
I corrected for wind after the first 2 shots and used 2 milldots of elevation.
I,m sure given the right conditions the 100k will do better.
The target is in the top centre of the next 2 shots. cheers.

That is impressive!
Still in the head,
Not that you need to shot that far with a good stalk.

Very very impressive.
But be careful, people have been deleted for shooting long ranges with air rifles ;)

Thanks guys, love long range target shooting , hunting is another matter though! Think we all love a bit of long range plinking and was surprised at the accuracy of the new 100k. Going to try a bit more if summer ever comes!:D cheers

Hi,
if you could get a bit tighter on groups and know your scope,by the looks of the penetration, you would kill a bunny with a head shot.

Thanks, problem is the wind, so unpredictable and the further the range the more the pellet at this power/weight is affected by it.I,ll be giving it another go when conditions are right,if ever!
I think for bunnies at this range it,ll be my Rapid mk2 F.A.C for now! Post some more pics when i get chance of another try though, cheers

Nicely done mate. To do that with a legal limit rifle is very impressive. Looks like the pellets held alot of their sting. I use 16gr Logun Penetrators in my 12ft/lbs HW100 & thats got some thump I can tell ya! H&N FTTs are very good in Weihrauch barrels though & to do that at that distance, that's one hell of a rig you've got there! Hats off to you sir.

Keith

mate, give me some numbers and i'll happily make a wind clock for you, it will help you improve your hitting capabilities. what i need is the exact amount of drop that you measure from the Point of AIM to point of impact at 5 different distances and pellets you are using.
ex
Distance drop in Inches or Cm pellet/weight
35(zero) 0 make etc
45 1.5
50 3
70
85
100
i'll make you one and email it over the weekend.

Hi all and happy new year this is my first forum piece ever so pls be patient. I have had air rifles for over 25years and have found a fab place to shoot knock-down targets. It's right by thruxton race circit and it has a web site lainsshootingschool.co.uk . I have not had so much fun on targets. If you look at the photos they have not been updated in some time and there are a lot moor to shoot at now they even go up to 70m :) and with my .22, 12ft lbs it wont knock it down.

Hi Flims,
How do you create a wind clock? I'm very intrested in one. How does it work? Is there a manual to create one? I hope to hear more of this

Hi i have four rifles and one pistol. A Rapid7 MK1,HW100 quick fill,HW97,Rat catcher all .22 and umarex beretta .177. I use the rat/c and beretta in the garden and the hw100,rapid7 for hunting and the hw97 as a back up. I have the most problems with the hw100 @70m tho. I can hit the target but it still stays up maybe the target is a little stiff as not many people use the range there.

Great shooting mate wish I was half as accurate as that! How big is that circle it looks to me as if it's not any bigger than 2 inches in diameter? Thats tight grouping at that kind of range.

Cheers bud, Ijust drew the circle freehand but reckon its around 40-50mm. Had a little play today on some private land I was working on and put a couple of impressive groups @50 yards and shot a 20p piece off the top of a breezeblock at this range, first shot with a bunch of bricklayers looking in amazement!
I,m no great shot, its just the gun! They are super accurate in the right conditions! cheers;)
