This is my review on the BSA Tactical XL .22

I bought this gun today off somone on here and im very impressed. I did not know which BSA to go for. It was between the Lightning XL or this one. I went for this because of the Stock and the looks. So i contacted somone who was selling the Tactical so we come to a deal and this morning he came to my house with it. On first sights my body tingled! It just looked stunning. The feel, the weight, the looks were just as i wanted.

So we took it into my back yard to test it out see if i liked the feel and everything and i tell you know it felt so powerful. This is my first .22 and when i shot it, the force the pellet came out was shocking. I shot at my shed and it went right through it was was impressed.

The power of the .22 is very nice. Some websites say different to each other. One website said 680fps and others say its 730fps. So you could say around 700fps. The overall lengh is 95cm/37.5in, and the barrel lengh is 37cm/14.5in. The weight is just nice. It weights in at 3kg/6.6lbs. The gun has a full lengh barrel which can be unscrewd at the top to add anouther silencer if needed, also i think its a carbine which means its a shorter barrel than others. Which is good for inclosed spaces for hunting and so on. This gun is good value for money, it's just as good as some of the high costing rifles.

Alot of people say that its just a cheap plastic looking gun, but there 100% wrong, the Tac is not "cheap" plastic it's very stong polymer which is fully weatherproof. So this BSA is just the best out of all the BSA's (I think). But over all im giving this gun a....

10/10

Yep they are not bad value guns I have two one in .177 & the other in .22 both are gas rammed and the guns seem to put a lot of energy behind the pellet. Mine are around 11.3 & 11.6.

But if your .22 is doing near 700fps you are likely to be the wrong side of the law, your pellet will have to weigh in at 11gms to be 11.9ft/lbs so if your using a pellet heavier than this get it checked !!

Especially if its going through a garden shed  LoL

Great guns but some have been tinkered with badly :( whats accuracy like with yours, mine is good to 35 yards but you need to grip them both firmly.

Cheers

I suggest that the fps findings you have read are for .177", not .22". 680 fps in .22" with a 16.2 grain pellet = locked up!
