For a while now I have been umming and arring about buying one of the above, thinking of what else I could get for the same amount of money in its price range, but kept my sensible cap on and went with exactly what I wanted in the first place. After purchasing the rifle and firing a few shots through I knew that it was in need of a strip down ( as alot of Weihrauch's are from new ) it was dieseling alot and the twang was horrendous. Thanks to me old man BEESA off of here, he completely stripped down and re-lubed it, after that and everything put back together the rifle was 100 times better, how the Weihrauch's react to a quick strip down is brilliant. Zeroing in was easy enough and I did honestly think that the HW35 would be severly hold sensitive, this was not to be, it absolutely loves H&N FTT .177 and easily groups out to 28 yards within a clover leaf grouping....The Weihrauch silencer certainly DOES make a HUGE differance, so for everyone who has there mind set on silencers do nothing for springers are talking out of there @RSES :p it quietens down the muzzle blast and reduces the sound to a slight thud..The recoil is pretty minimal and im shooting with a fairly light Bushnell scope on top...The stock is to my liking and I realise alot of people do not like the blue laminate but it makes it differant from everything else, and overall the stock is comfortable to shoulder and to get a consistant hold that you need in a twanger...All being well I will shoot this at a couple of fun HFT events this year...The proof is in the pudding so to speek, I havent seen anyone shooting one yet and with the power just edging 10.5ftlb it may need a slight ....very slight tweek to even out trajectory....Overall it has been a very fun gun to shoot so far and makes a change from the Mk4 ;)

Just bought a HW35 in .22 from a mate at the club and its spot on, put 10 shots over the chrono and 8 of those shots were the same result at 541 ft/s (with 16gr that makes 10.4ft/lbs exactly) the 9th shot was 540 and the 10th was 542! Awesome consistency!
Shoots sooooo smoothly, easy to cock and fun to shoot. Gonna hang on to this for a long while :)
What 'tweaks' are available then? They were 10/ft/lbs weren't they then a new version/revision or whatever bought the power up to over 11? That's how I understand it. Does that mean there are two different springs available?

Iam planning on speeking to Steve Pope in the fututre, although I will run it in first with a couple of tins of pellets and see how it goes before tuning it any further, you can add a washer or two but this will up it at around 15fps per washer so keep your eye on it....if they are running at around 11ftlb or a tad less im more than happy..ive adjusted the trigger half a turn to my liking as there was a slight bit of creep before....I also love the way they lock up....cracking little guns and really underestimated :)

I've got a HW35KLS in .177 myself and they are impressive and underrated springers, had mine for several months now. It has now been fully fettled by 'Bonnie&Clyde' (a full tune, new custom internal components and buttoning) which has left this as the most impressive springer I have shot since the Venom TX200 I owned in previous years. The felt recoil is low in my opinion and extremely managable. At the club last weekend in windy conditions it was keeping all shots within a 20mm at 30 yards with the front of the air rifle resting on a cushion on the range benches.
UK Neil has also built me a full barrel shroud/reflex silencer that is now fitted too and that has kept the rifle short, moderated and enhanced the balance of the rifle.
Big thanks to Bonnie&Clyde (Dave) and UKNeil (Neil) both truly great assets to our airgun community and produce seriously high quality items/services.
Cheers,
Garry

Very nice mate, what pellets are people putting through theres? Ive tried sized daystates so far and H&N FTT and it seems to dislike the daystates.....:)

Using JSB 4.52's in mine at the moment and it seems to like those.
Plan to try others out over the coming months.

I bought my HW35KLS in 0.177 about 4 weeks ago and it`s a very nice rifle indeed.Mine didn`t diesal much at all and has settled down at a mega consitant 10.9 ft/lbs with RWS Superdomes (it does slightly less, about 10.7 ft/lbs with A.A.Fields. 4.52`s).Bottom line is that it shoots as well as any HW95k (and I`ve owned 2 of those)
When I phoned Hull Catridge to enquire about the rifle, they told me they only had 5 or 6 left in either caibre,so if you want one ,you`d better be quick!

They've always been extremely expensive compared to most though. ;)
Got mine from a local shop for £275 which includes the HW moderator. :)

I looked at several dealers for the 35KLS.
Chambers of Brighton £269
Woodys Wembley £282
Airshooter Essex £269
DAI Leisure West Mids £235
DAI only has .22 left and its the version with the open sights rather than the more common model with the HW Silencer. Don't worry if Hull Cartridge only have a few left some dealers order direct from Germany. You can still get the 35 Export if you want.

I got mine new in a trade(for a 0.22 Fenman) ,but my local dealer says he`d be looking for about £280`sh ,so Drapers are pushing their luck!!

it`s got a shorter barrel ,with loads of threading;I had to take up some of the thread with a Parker Hale thread protector(about £3 from your local dealer),before I put on a muzzle brake from a BSA T10 Scorpion.

The HW35 is an excellent rifle that is well under rated and the limitied editions give it even more character. This may be of interest - post # 24 (http://www.airgunbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=342178&page=2)

I will just mention that I shot GBAKER`s 35KLS (thanks Gary) down @ on the club range the other week after getting it back from B&C.
A very nice rifle indeed :D & indeed testament to Daves tuning work on it :).

#### I had a HW35K and put a OX 3 Spring in it, had to cut about 6 coils to make it semi legal.
In the end part ex'd it for a S310 and the dealer said good job I did as it was still over 12ftib.
Thumb hole stock it was nice but loud.

Yeap It was the complete wrong thing to do.
I should've stuck with the standard spring.
