To all attending the Basingstoke round of the Southern Hunter Series this Sunday.

Firstly, a reminder that its on and you're all more than welcome to attend this great venue. We promise to try and live up to our reputation for putting on a great course. Adam is doing the catering so you won't need sarnies etc:D

Secondly, I'm sure you will all have seen the thread about Michael, the brave young lad who is having a tough time along with his family.

I won't go into the details because they are covered elsewhere, but following on from Dave "Kingplinkers" sticky on non-airgun to provide a special day(s) out for Michael, we're going to have a raffle to help towards costs to make the day extra special.

Its a bring and buy raffle, you bring a prize to donate, anything from a tin of pellets to a bottle of scotch or whatever you want. Then please buy a £1 raffle ticket or preferably at least a fivers worth, the more the better.

If you'd rather just donate, then there will be a collection bucket at the stats tent and it would be great for Dave to be able to take a substantial sum home for the fund.

Yes, there is a recession on, which makes it hard for all of us but recession or not, Michael still deserves that day out.

So come along fellow BBSers, support the shoot, help a great cause and have some fun doing it.

Thank you all in advance:)

Bob, the committee and all at BARPC

PS: If you're coming along and can donate, please add to the thread saying you're helping. You don't have to say what you're giving but lets see how many prizes we can get! I'll start...

Hi all
My firm are donating a "Try a Scuba Dive" experience voucher for the raffle
I know we are maybe too far for some people "East Grinstead West Sussex" but hopefully someone who is not too far away will win it and it helps to make a bit of money for the Lad.

Well done to everyone who helped to bring in £410.00 for Michaels grand day out.

The £100.00 donation from SHS and the £50 from "The Oaks" was the icing on the cake, thanks fellas, but most of all it was down to the individuals who put there hands in their pockets and bought raffle tickets or just plain donated.

I can honestly say I've never known such a generous bunch or people as airgunners, especially in mind of the current climate.

Finally thanks to Jo and John for selling the tickets whilst I was acting as CRO. Sterling job!
