Just wanted to say good luck to all the sussex shooters going to the worlds at the weekend !

As you all know we have all gained in experience over the past couple of years to the point we are now pretty much spoilt for choice with shooting venues etc - anyway good luck !

But can they win while wearing pink (as Beth can/will) or are they resorting to lucky charms like wearing the same unwashed socks just in case it makes a difference to their chances?:confused:;):p:D:D

I dread to think what some shooters are doing to increase their chances; looking at pellets via Magnifying glass, weighing pellets with more than one scale, only filling their dive bottles & rifles with the purest of dry divers quality air that has been blessed by the pope for example.:D

Just going for the experience really, plus my wife can visit her family in Coventry.

Keeping an eye on the weather it keeps changing daily from being nice to wet and windy then back to nice.

Just hope my knee holds up :(

I've just had the image of them asking 'Is it safe?' over and over again (watch Marathon man, but not if you've got a dentist's appointment the next day;):D).

I dread to think what the Sussex juniors are capable of when provoked; probably shoot the course Annie Oakley (http://www.tommycowboy.com/annie-oakley.jpg) style and still take the top places:D.

Did you get plenty of practice in today Mike? I spent an hour zeroing, then decided to change my px and change from 10x mag down to 9x mag, thereby changing all my aim points :eek:, not the best preparation for the Worlds :o but hey, at least I've got my excuses ready :cool::D

Juniors shot well, most of us.......shot as if we were newbies...Schoolboy errors:rolleyes:
Not pleased with my score atall...54 first day...56 second.
Both courses were cleared by at least one person Guess who!?:D

Dissapointed with the way i handled the courses, they were not hard particularly....unless you throw in the fact that you are shooting amongst the top shooters in the country.:D...I know 'Del boy' would have called me a 'Plonker' more than once!

Everyone knows i am useless at names, but thanks to Ryan Charlton, Vivian?...And the nice geezer with a torn muscle, for putting up with me!...
I wasn't my usual self..no serious banter, I must have been a bit shy or concentrating too hard on making excuses!:D

Thankyou to Everyone that made this possible..some great prizes, great Company...Met Terry Doe....he is so good looking, also met Yoki....god he's old!..and Foreign? :confused:
