Another good evening at the club today, with a tense shoot-off to decide the winner. Ian Hartford managed to drop in and visit us tonight, to see the facilities that everyone is talking about, and shot the course with a very creditable score of 50, well done.

-------------------score----h/cap----total
Darren Lindsey-------56-------01-------57-winner after shoot off.
Kyle Hampton--------53-------04-------57-LOSER after shoot off.
Richard Woods-------54-------01-------55
Richard Cunningham--44-------10-------54
Roger Lait-----------52-------02-------54
Jean Greatrex--------43-------10-------53
Ray Hampton--------48-------05-------53
Darren Quincey------46-------06-------52
Ian Bainbridge-------47-------04-------51
Terry Wheatley------49-------02-------51
Andy Yates----------36-------10-------46
Simon Vant----------36-------07-------43

We are holding a 40 peg shoot on Sunday, with 30 pegs in the woods, so pop along to enjoy the competition and superb food that is always available.

Thanks for looking after me tonight guys. You've got a great club, and I really enjoyed the shoot. Shame about some of the company, but Roger's got to be somewhere I suppose ;)

Anyway, where's my bleeding score? I had to endure over an hours worth of p1ss taking from Darren and Roger for that! :D

Cheers

Hi Rog

My score was so bad that it was too embarrasing for the club to post. Apparently it can put off potential members to the club who would be shocked to see that such low scores are possible at the UKs leading HFT club. :p

It would potentially suggest that the club is very intimidating, and that even shooters like myself with natural skills  and the ability to use the force :rolleyes: can be made to struggle by having them shoot alongside some of the sports iconic personalities, such as yourself  ;)

I was extremely impressed with your sportsmanship, particularly when you dropped your partners gun on the floor, then stood on it, :eek:and placed it back into the silp without any concern. You were particularly useful in suggesting that it needed "a couple of clicks left" :rolleyes:when actually a replacement barrel would have been more suitable.

I look forward to my return visit next wednesday, where hopefully i will have sorted my parallax error issues, bought a decent gun, and practiced a bit more, just like you said! :D

Pucker up boys, I'll see you next week!

Cheers
