hi, i recently got my airarms TDR .22 back from Tweaky after i was having problems with the POI constantly changing as the air tank is quite small. i was getting roughly 40shots per a 200psi fill. Anyway Tweaky Worked his magic and it came back to me last saturday. First impresions were... Where is it?.... and then i saw a extra section added on to the resevoir which looked very professional. couldnt wait to try it out. Weather was not helping as it was very windy last saturday but i still managed to sort of zero it and have a go.
Well filled it up to the stated 210psi and fired, definate increase in power, it was great. managed to create large dints in a metal drum which was origionally used for hydrolic oil, but now it is my power tester. :D no POI change at all through out the 70 odd shots i now managed to get out per charge:D which is almost twice as much as i was getting.
managed to get a pigeon with it tonight and im loving it, pellet went straight through it and the vital organs, its like a new gun and alot more usable, i couldnt recommend it more. awesome craft mans ship.

it really is a professional job and improves my gun so much as it was origionally only kicking out about 9ft/lb now its a steady 11.79ft/lb

great job there Tweaky;)

Sounds great
I would be interested in that could you put a picture up to see what it looks like with the reg on and how much did it cost, how long did it take to fit
Thanks;)

eeskidmark lent me this gun for 6 weeks to use to develop this reg, it is also going to be fitted to the AA510, i am just awaiting the arrivle of one of these to check there are no changes needed to the reg body to fit both guns and then i will have a batch made, a reg that functions the same but which fits internally is also being made for the S3/4*0 range, the tdr and 510 can use the external reg which does not occupy any of the available air space.

Here are the figures from this tdr;
fps before the reg (after a good service)
fps after
ft/lb after

The finalising of the designs for the new regs is taking longer than i had expected because i am very busy, but it will be done asap.

Cheers Simon.

Get a BSA Ultra instead - Simon does an equally-impressive job on these too. :D

My Ultra is now at least as consistent as my Daystate Mk3, costing 3 times as much!!! :eek:

As far as I know Simon hasn't developed one for the HW100 as it is already regulated.

I have one on my Ultra, which now goes by the name of B.S.A.T.R.U and there's also an S200 sporter with one.

Both rifles are very good, but made better with the addition of the Tweaky/Tench regulators.
