Well....first impressions.
The look of it isnt amazingly different from its previous brothers...apart from the sloping air tank, rail and bolt action...
Bolt action: SO much better than the old loading mechanism, i had a mk1 a few years back and jammed it a fair few times! Found the new bolt acton can be fairly stiff on the odd cycle but apart from that i find it alot easier to use and feels better.
The air tank seems to give good "pointability" and shoulders smoother than some other rifles and maybe the older S16s. For style the rubber cover off the FX Verminator looks a bit more pleasing but the standard one works just aswell!
Performance:
As always it is very very accurate. When using a bi-pod, one hole groupings at 40 yards are very easy to achieve.
When i took it out for my first rabbit session i couldnt get over the quietness of it. The new built in QGS silencer really does do the trick...to the point of the rabbits only lifting their heads if you miss (happens to everyone :o )
The shot count is another good addition.. I found that it gives around 140 to 160 full power shots...Logun may say different but its just my findings.
On a whole the rifle is a perfect hunting tool...no wood to worry about scratching and no blueing to keep rust free! (although a clean doest hurt it!)
The Logun S16 Evo is like marmite... Either you love it or...you dont!
