I have had my MK70 for about ten months and can't fault it. I bought it from Minsterley ranges, and at the time was initially looking for a second hand Berreta. The Berretta I was looking at was initially price at about £950, however, after talking to one of the staff, I was informed that the gun was a bad fit for me.
I was then offerd the MK70, which, after inspection, I was told was a near perfect fit. The MK70 was new and was priced at £860. It is an atttractive looking gun, for an 'off the peg' purchase and I found it to be well weighted (cant remember if its 28 or 30 inch tubes at the time of writing).
The gun has a single selective trigger and was supplied with three different chokes. The trigger action is well weighted and provides a crisp and positive response. Initially, opening the gun was a little stiff, but that has worn off with use.
Unfortunately there were no second hand models on offer so I could not 'try before you buy', so I took a bit of a gamble and bought it. I wasnt dissapointed!
I went out on to theclay range as soon as I got out of the shop to have a play and, considering my limited experience with shotguns, found that I was dusting the clays far more consistently that I had with any other gun.
If anyone else has any furhter information or tips regarding the MK70, can you please post them here. SO far I have had no complaints about my purchase that has provided me with a great deal of fun on the clay range, as well a bagging the odd bunny and woody!
