This is my first ever air rifle and a steal at £119. After struggling to break the barrel for ten minutes I finally got the technique right and popped in a cheap SMK domed pellet. The trigger is quite stiff and takes some getting used to. The safety catch is in a fanastic place the sights are easily adjustable, even for a newbie like me. The recoil is odd (after using the 5.56 L98 at school) yet I soon got used to it. I was and still am suprised at the 1" grouping at 25m that you can quite easily achieve. Having just zeroed a Simmons 3-9 x 40 scope I can now quite easily hit the bullseye 3/5 shots. Still need to fire at greater than 25m but I'm quite confident that the results will be pleasing. I'm no judge, but the pellet going through 4 layers of cardboard, a heavy piece of 1/2" thick chipboard and thin fence panel only to smack into the compost heap at the end of the garden, the gun seems mighty powerful. For such a small amount of money compared to the £300+ that people seem to be paying (for a springer) I'm suprised at the build quality (apart from wobbly trigger) ,accuracy, and power. I fully recomend it to all, especially those on a limited budget. :)
