Does anyone own one? How do you like it? Is it reliable? Pics?

A while ago I wrote a short article on the HW75. I owned one in the early 90's. I currently own a HW40(6 yrs old) and HW45(3 yrs old).
My article was geared to the American readers so the product labels were "Beemanized". Equivalents are as follows:

Weihrauch HW45 = Beeman P-1
Weihrauch HW75 = Beeman P-2
Weihrauch HW40 = Beeman P-3

Very neat, I'd like to see more up close pics of the HW 75.

We Americans have a few domestic Weihrauch bootleggers like PyramidAir so I'm more used to the Weihrauch name. ;)

Here's a close-up pic from the Weihrauch web site

If I still had my HW75 I would do a photo shoot for you.
A web search for "Weihrauch HW75" will show a bunch of pics that might show different angles.

It's well made and very accurate, but I don't like the safety catch at all. Mine has malfunctioned several times.

What's the safety catch? Did you mean the manual safety switch? How did it malfunction or what did it cease to do?

Sometimes when in the fire position, the hammer wouldn't come down.

The catch also felt loose and could rotate about 120 degrees.

Tightening it up didn't seem to make any great difference. When it wouldn't shoot I just had to keep playing with the trigger setting to get let off.

Maybe I just got a dodgy one.

Cooper;

So after 5 years how many shots do you estimate have been through your trusty HW40? Does the automatic safety still function reliably as it's supposed to over this period of time and use?

What do you think of the .22 cal version (didn't see it tested on your site)?

What do you think of the Marksman 2004 Chinese copy at 25% of the price of an HW40?
