Right, being a 'leftie' I was not going to be inundated by choice in left handed guns

Anshutz(?) for £500 was too damn close to PCP cost and there are some reports of poor triggers and short barrels causing noise........

So I came across Savage rifles www.savagearms.com left handed and good price. Now that's more like it. As this is a 'tool' gun I did not want anything flash. So I got the standard stock, pretty good finish, gave it a quick going ober to seal it in etc...

It's not the highest of quality and the trigger was foul BUT... I shimmed the trigger and got a nice firm but crisp trigger, I have put about 1500 rounds through it now and with WinX hollow it groups at less than an inch bipod shot at 60 yards so it's pretty good. Last night I shot a rabbit at about 150 yards standing without too much bother

All in all, they are very caperble rifles, well worth the money and the choice for right handed is now VERY good, laminate stocks etc :)

That being said, I will be selling mine for a Walther GSP....... ;)
