I'm shooting 75grn custom .308 boattails at 805, and Hornady 32cal (.310) round balls at 881. It's also very consistent and accurate for 5-6 shots. Fill pressure per Daystate is suppose to be 3600psi.

Tony Belas from Daystate emailed me yesterday to inform me that this is the only one in their records. He also stated the gun was designed to shoot a 120 grn bullet at about 110 ft lbs. He is researching more info from the engineer who is on Holiday. Can't wait to find out more info from the man who designed the rifle and what 120grn bullet Daystate designed this Huntsman to shoot. By far my favorite airgun.

Does anyone have a rifle similar to this in England?? What does it shoot best??

I do not have a Huntsman in .30 - great fun - but I do have a special Huntsman. I bought it off my brother in law who had bought it off an elderly gentleman who was giving up shooting. The gentlemen had spent a long time tweaking his guns and this one was not exception - the trigger is superb. I shot the gun doing the normal 12 ft lbs in Wales where it was drowned but ok while my MK3 was being converted into a Bullpup. The thing was, what to do with it afterwards. I decided to send it to Daystate to make it into a 6 ft lb target gun as it had a FT stock and felt nice to shoot standing. Took it along but when Tony and Dave Baines saw it, they immediately asked if it was one of the six. 'Six what?' I asked. It turned out that Daystate only made six guns with that stock and the customers would have waited six months for them. They still made it into a 6 ft lb gun and what a 6 ft lb gun it is! With open sights, it is very accurate. I sometimes take it along to Lea Valley and shoot it at the pistol targets - get at least one Committee member coming up to say that you are not allowed to shoot a rifle at the pistol targets only for them to be told that it does less ft lbs than their Falcon pistols!
