My rifles was a dawn & dusk thing untill I teamed up with a local lamper, talking to my local shop about lamps resulted in a long session & an offer I couldn't refuse for my HW80/95/77 guns. One week later I was the pround owner of a new lamp, sights & a S200. About 20 pellets later the scope was sorted & after trying many pellets to sort the best from the rest I stayed with Laza Domes & AA Fields. Air gone from the cylinder = playtime over. Sunday morning I went to pump the gun up, no adapter for the pump. Monday saw me handing over £16 for something he forgot to mention. Over the next 2 weeks I practised in the garden & was amased at the accuracy but decided to put on my old favorite scope. Accuracy was better with a Simmons Deerfield 3.9 x 40 than the Deben sold with the gun. Next was a Air Arms silencer. Well worth the money I thought, a simple slide on item that worked very well. Through the winter i couldn't fault the gun but next came a mag conversion at the end of summer, fit it on Saterday to play with in the garden Sunday, wrong, high mounts are needed. The mag worked faultlessly for about a month but talking to the local shop owner about the S200 whilst he was deciding on a price for a BSA S10 he'd just taken in landed me with a good deal, a week later saw me in the garden with, well that's another story. The S200 is superb, accurate & if you start with AA Fields you won't go far wrong. It's light & easy to carry around for long periods, my original high priority, just make sure you get an adapter for filling at time of purchase. I bought a pump & found it easy to fill. A silencer is an easy & worthwhile mod. The 10 shot mag is allso a good buy & easy to use but get high mounts at the same time. I did look on the net in general & on here about the S200 & most will agree about accuracy, light wieght, some will have had problems but can be sorted. Why did I sell mine for a heavier gun. Simple, power. From a full fill the first 10 shots was naff, the next 10 got better then about 20/30 good ones then the power fell off fast. In the garded no problem but for what I wanted it meant a little hassle that i just no longer wanted. Some say file off the rough area's on the mag & a spot of grease helps & that is about the worst I've seen as far as black marks go. Power levels on this full power gun is a bit suspect so if you want close to the legal limit think again. Single hole groups that was a little rough around the edge was easy to get in the garden & out in the wild the pellet was allways on the mark. A great light wieght gun getting full marks from me. Be honest to yourself what you want from the gun & you won't go far wrong if the S200 fills your needs. :D

Thanks for that. Lesson learnt. One thing I left out was that out of the few rifles I've had so far the S200 is one of those that is a I wish I hadn't sold, in single shot mode it was so nice to do a bit of plinking with. :)
