I should read the posts on the XVF-01. I strongly suspect the same technology is used in both devices, i.e. the power lead coming out of the back of the IR illuminator connected to a brick sized battery. I took a look at their web site; the picture angle does not show the rear housing of the IR illuminator. I suspect it has been conveniently left out of the picture. :confused:

it is on the same lines as the xvf m8 we developed the xvf 02 first so its all the same comp in all the range by the way i for got to say i work for soviet bizz and i test these in the field as we devloped the xvf range :D if you like to no any more about our products send me a pm
