It`s for the Italians to decide how things should be done in their schools. Not some Scottish atheist who knows sod all about Italy. You exhibit that unbearable arrogance that so many of the British have ....... the unshakeable conviction that you know best, and the rest of the world should all be like us. You`re living in cloud cuckoo land. Most of the rest of the world see us as barbarians. What can you teach the Italians? How to wreck your education system and produce the unhappiest and worst educated 16 year olds in Europe? How to create crime, drug abuse, family breakdown and social collapse worse than anywhere in the civilized world? How to destroy your economy and create a permanent 5 million underclass? How to bankrupt your country and saddle children unborn with unpayable debts? How to produce home grown Islamist terrorists? How to create the most surveilled and spied-upon society on Earth? How to get embroiled in unwinnable wars? How to waste and squander and piss up the wall every single asset and advantage we inherited from our ancestors?
The rest of the world doesn't want to know. Get used to it, and for God`s sake learn a little humility.
