Thumbs up Bonnie & Clyde Tunning

http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o...i/DSCF1873.jpg

I would like to thank Dave (Bonnie & Clyde on here) for the work he did on my 97 in 0.177 calibre

The above is some groups shot at varying ranges in doors using mozzies straight from the tin.

The gun is so smooth to shoot with minimal recoil, and unlike before the tune it just recoils back with no twist, I would also say quieter now as well.

I have owned venom tuned guns and in my opinion this is as good if not better.

Dave tuned it and re-worked a very bad trigger that had been messed with.

This man should be rushed of his feet because for the price and quality he can't be beaten.

So Dave thanks again for all your help it was a pleasure to have you do the work.

Very interesting, just been discussing fitting a kit with the rfd I got my 95 from. .
And Bonnie & Clyde get so much good 'press' that they will get my business (when the time comes - in about 1000 pellets-ish )

rfd has agreed to fit it when it goes in for a service. . . which is nice (and keeps my lifetime guarantee intact )

That is some serious grouping even at 60 yards, who says you need a pcp to get descent groups, well done.I am mildly jealous.

Yeah what he said

I'd be happy with that grouping with any gun, spring or PCP

Nice shooting mate

Looking forward to getting my own kit which i'll be fitting myself. Not expecting miracles but i reckon i'm in for a surprise compared to standard spring/guides etc.

I will say it was indoors and off a padded bench, each group of 5 shots proably took 15- 20 mins minimum.

Went without any sugar or caffine all day which also helped.

Also now I have given up smoking it seemed to help (less stimulants I suppose)

A great deal of thought and effort went into each group and I can honestly say I was knackerd at the end of it

Was it worth it ? yes, just to prove that with a decent well tuned springer it can shoot very very well

Thanks

Dave

Dave tunes any gun that contains a sping and not a cylinder
Iv been lucky enough to shoot a fair few guns of daves after he's tuned them with some guns running as low as 2 ft variation per shot and no matter what make gun it is they are all transformed after hes had his guby hands on them

Talking I Can't wait......

I have just had a PM off Dave telling me that he has made a special trip to post my tuning kit (HW97K .22) and I should get it tomorrow morning....

I can't wait to get it fitted (my gun is lay in pieces waiting for its new bits...)

THANK YOU Dave for making a special trip to the post office for me

I will let everyone know how the fitting goes and what the gun is like when it is done, but by all accounts it should be great...

Cheers, Dave Warry.

Is there any tangible difference in the end result if the kit is fitted by Dave, an (experienced) rfd or oneself?

Daves kits bring "proffesional" tuning to your own workbench all you need are very basic skills to fit one of his kits

The all important guides are machined to fit the spring, the lubes in the kit are very good indeed, and you dont need a pound of "tar" to quieten the twang as there wont be any

So there truly is nothing that Dave can do to 'fine tune' the kit to achieve a better result than if it were done elsewhere?

Dave is a very experienced tuner and knows most guns inside out and what to touch and what not to touch so unless you dont know anything about tuning or what to do then trust Dave to sort it for you because he really does know his stuff
