Webley Silver scopes
Anyone have any experience of the Cheap Webley Silver scopes being sold by JSR.
I'm after a cheapy scope for my Supersport whose primary use now is back garden plinking. Therefore I don't want to spend any much cash but I don't want open sights. It seems I can get scope and mounts for around the £30 mark with free postage. Are they springer proof? I know they are the bucket end of cheap scopes but I aint sticking an expensive piece of glass on something thats just going to shoot tin cans and bits of paper by me and my 11 year old. But then again If there Cr@p I won't waste my money. Cheers Daz |

Never used a webley silver, but maybe you should have a look at the simmons deerfield range.
They are springer proof, well mine was on my old supersport. Pretty good image through them too. |

Thanks but I'll end up paying twice the price for a simmons against the advertised price for the Webley, not exactly what I want to do for a back garden springer.
