TX200 Wonder Gun!

After spending 10 days in the void that is Royal Mail my Bonnie and Clyde tuned and fettled TX200HC is back in my arms!

Fortunately it was well worth the wait.

I had a couple of shots in the back garden to check the firing cycle and it put a stupid grin on my face even before I pulled the trigger!

The cocking action is as smooth polished grease and the trigger (set up by Dave) breaks like the proverbial. It is sweetness in mechanical form.

The lock time is short without feeling like a gasram and there is barely a twitch at the muzzle (partly due, of course, to the uk.neil stripper).

Also by uk.neil is a chunky brass cocking aid, and brass trigger guard and safety catch by the excellent elmor fudd (cheers again Jay).
All this adds up to a sweet looking, smooth shooting springer that will be giving me many years of plinking and hunting pleasure.

There're still a couple of things to do to it yet, but that's another story.

Cheers, Del.

Thanks for the invite but if I don't get in the garden and sort out our vegetable patch this weekend my monstrously pregnant wife will eat me.... seriously!

Cheers, Del.
