Thought I'd post a quick review of my Rapid 25 with CT stock / Magpul PRS combo.

Lucky enough to get my hands on the last available CT stock and with Chip's help find a Magpul PRS to go with it.

The quality of the CT stock is second to none. Always wanted a Rapid with a tactical look and this one is the business. Magpul PRS fit to the CT stock is simple and a perfect mate.

The scope is a Leupold VX111 EFR 6.5-20 x 40. I've also fitted a DM80 moderator which I had specifically built for the 25 cal. It's very quiet ie back yard friendly quiet.

I replaced the factory barrel with a 19 inch BSA barrel to lose the weight of the shroud as moderators are not illegal here.

BSA barrels are actually .243, not a true .25 so was a little worried that the .25 H&N Barracudas would cause accuracy problems and lead up the barrel quickly. This has not been the case so far with about 500 pellets put through the gun so far. A quick clean with a pull through indicated low levels of lead and no effect on accuracy. Will see over time as the barrel gets a few more pellets through it.

OAL is 42.5 inches.

I'm still tweaking the valve and spring set up. Here's a shot string with the gun set up at the 47fpe level:

Average 824 fps for 46.7 fpe.

The balance of the gun is a little front heavy with the 500cc bottle, but the Rapid 25 loves air. Tried the 400cc bottle. Much better balance but the shot count really suffers.

Very happy with this Rapid 25 in the CT / Magpul dress.
