Southern Hunter Results -R2 Buxted

The boys at Buxted had a tough act to follow with Bisley setting the bar high, we were not disappointed. Andy had set an excellent course, but forgot to put in a request for good weather. We had a good variety of targets both in and outside of the woodland and the wind and rain made some of them real thinking shots.
Well done to all those who proved they weren't fair weather shooters today and carded some decent scores. Massive thanks to Andy Simpson & co from Buxted for another superb days shooting, and last but by no means least - Sarah and Andrea, who did the booking in today.

I thought my day was going particularly well untill i got to peg 13, pulled the trigger and my Mk4 went 'click' - the bloody battery was flat. I was sure i had charged it, but found my Mk3 still on charge when i got home. I finished the course with Connor's Huntsman, which perfomed very well.

My thanks in particular to Sarah and Andrea, never in my life have I been so pleased to be out of a job

If it weren't for the people sitting behind that table, the whole thing wouldn't happen.

My thanks again!

Richard

You shot the majority of the course with Connors' right handed, junior stocked kiddy gun and came in with a 58 When did you make your deal at the crossroads?
Well done Mark, I knew all that coaching I gave you would pay off oneday

Nothing went wrong, Steve, well - except me putting the wrong gun on charge. Connor's Huntsman is a cracking little gun, i would be happy to use it - if it had the right sized L/H stock of course.

Cheers Graham, i am well pleased with things today, plus the Mk4 came to life after a short time on the charger - just as well i remembered there was one in the spout.
