    .177 or .22

hi all, i know this seems to cause a lot of differing opinion, but what is the best size for hunting in a non fac rifle?
i know everyone will say do a search and you'll find loads of info, but i have searched pretty much every variation of ".177 v .22" and each time i get told "sorry no matches".
with out going through every thread on 1355 pages, can someone shed some light on the matter, as it seems to be a popular question but with no answers given.
    many thanks
    dan

    Arrow

Try searching for 'best calibre' or 'which calibre'-loads of info there. Also try the American variant spelling 'caliber' as well.

people dont mind that much about answering the question of calibre as it usually goes on for 3pages or so!!!!

its .22 by the way allways will be the best and the people that say .177 are very wrong and a bit limp wristed

.177 up to 18fpe. After that me thinks choice of ammo is greatly reduced.

You know what, try both pellets and see for yourself, some guys like the small cali others like the bigger one,I 'll give you my opinion which is simple

    Fac/over 12ftlb=.22 fly around 800+fps.
