    another webley mk3 question

    where is the serial number on a mk3, is it the number on the underlever. eg 18069?

    Its on the cocking lever just in front of the underlever link pin and also underneath the loading tap housing at the lever pivot. Raise the loading tap port when your checking for the later incase the sear fails. Number 18069 makes it a series one - 1947-49.
