    Weihrauch 3-9 scope

    Hi,

Picked a Weihrauch 3-9 scope up at the weekend, think the venom scope will now be coming up for sale. The scope looks in good condition, tracks well on turrets and the optics are excellant.

Only question is, on the windage turret I get six full turns of the turret, on the elevation there is only one, why is that? Is this normal or is the scope broke?

It tracks ok for the full turn, but there is a definite stop at either end of the turrets travel.

    Any help?

    regards,

    Matt

    Hiya Matt,

Just checked with mine to confirm. If you remove the top (serrated) round cover and the BDC (Bullet Drop Compensator) collar, the one with the '+' and '-' numbers on it will come off. This has a stop pin in it to stop you doing more than 360 degrees. You should now, hopefully, have a lot more vertical travel.
I think the Weihrauch scopes are very good and compliment a classic rifle.

    Ian,

I though it was something like that - but couldn't remember what to do.

    Thanx for the reply.

    regards,

    Matt
