First was an airsporter bought by good old Dad. Fantastic

Best part of 30 yrs later bought an HW80 unassisted. Complete dog, but like any HW could have been saved. Now only buy after careful consideration and talking endlessly to other members at Ford - or complete impulse.

HI All, If it wasn't for the kind people who helped me choose my set up, I would have bought a custom B2, only because of a lack of knowledge.
I am more than happy I took the advice on offer and bought a HW 95K.

Slightly assisted here, ancient Relum Tornado donated by dad (now back in his collection). Then followed an HW77k, HW80k, 2 shotties, HW99s, Falcon Fn12 Raptor and then I won the Brocock Hunter.

i know this thread may be dead and buried now,

but i bought unassisted....... and guess what i bought????

a Harrington Gat .177 pistol (the one with all the gubbins with it),

my second purchase was the Harrington Gat Maxima .22 pistol (break barrel (also looks like an s2 pistol)), my third purchase was.....

CHINESE!!!! , my first air-rifle was an SMK Biathlon .177 (bloody good rifle, looking back in hindsight (only problem being - you couldn't put a decent scope on it because of the break barrel action)).

my fourth purchase, was on my brothers behalf (no i'm not lying) CHINESE B2 .177......recently got rid of, due to brother relocating in Maine.

my fifth again CHINESE, a Custom Lion .22 which i am about to sell to a neighbour (for a profit) to hopefully fund my next purchase, hopefully a HW99s hopefully the end of this week

you would've thought i'd learnt me lesson after the biathlon........

you live and learn i guess

Got the gamo aged about 10 when in Spain bought for me by my Grandad when staying at his place there. Took a rest from shooting (on/off until 17ish) until I bought a Chinese DB4 deluxe(what exactly I wonder) under lever with a crap scope a couple of months ago. Enjoyed that so much I splashed out on a second hand S200 bought with the tiniest hint of a clue what I was getting into! Interestingly with the DB4 I had got myself able to shoot lolly sticks at 15 yards. Since I've had the S200 I can't hit the broad side of a barn with the DB4. Amazing how lazy you can get with a fancy PCP. I don't regret buying it but I do wonder if a nice springer would have been a good idea to keep me on my toes? Good excuse to get another though perhaps? I'll also be needing a .177 PCP for FT/HFT as well I guess......
