    Thumbs up Maple stock

    **FINISHED**
    I have just finished making my own stock
    used maple all I could get, without spending mega bucks
    the action will be a daystate 2000 old but still good just heavy
    photos are on picturetrail if any one wants to look

    Had to have another look ...... maple does look lovely ( not taking anything away from Alans work ) .

    That's a nice job Allan, looks really good. Did you do the inletting yourself.? If so, what did you use.?

    This is very nice indeed, you have the ability to produce some quality work here, Maple is my prefered wood especialy if its Spailded Maple.
    Your stock reminds me of one that I have been after for many many moons.

    I have a bench mounted router
    although the router bit to do the air cylinder was about £50
    but well worth it

    Very tasty Alan! Impressed! Interesting to see an integral trigger guard. Is it not vulnerable to breakage at all?

    My neighbour can get me chunks of maple this size and after seeing these pics i am going to have to give it a try, very nice work.
