Hi fellow tinkerers,

I am a newbie to the forum so please excuse me if any questions are naieve........

As a way of reliving my airgunning youth I have bought a secondhand Milbro G27 (cheaply) which is in need of a little TLC. (Why did I sell my BSA Challenger Carbine in my early twenties to fund a beer and chips lifestyle???).

It shoots but is not very smooth and being relatively "handy" I will give it a strip and apply "old springer tune up" from the forums to gain a smooth consistent rifle (at least compared to my starting point).

Has anyone stripped one of these rifles before and can therefore offer any tips?

I have some automotive "Comma LM Grease" can this be substituted for Abbey LT2 in a plinker such as the G27?? Or should I stick to the airgun specific stuff??

Many thanks in advance, Rich.
