    browning fn b2

    well.... what can i say

ive spent hundreds of pounds on ruger, brno, sako,,,etc.

and i can say that none of the above rifles put a smile on my face like this little belgian made browning has

what a little gem this gun is,

    some stats.

    weight. 4lbs 13oz

    length. 37"

    barrel. 19"

    semi auto.

holds 11 rounds. tube fed through stock

i took it up the shoot today to see how she shot.

    well......

    ammo.

remi ammo was tosh...going supersonic and all over the place (nowt new there)

cci.. im no fan of that fodder but it did group very well

winni subs. the gun liked these..... one ragged hole at 25 yards and slightly opening up group at 45.

it cycled every thing i fed it with no problems at all.

i like the way it feeds the ammo into the chamber... a nice smooth shute , every round is fed with the nose of the rond not touching anything.....

now thats something i cant say about ruger's 22. that scrape a chunk out of every round when it jumps from the mag into the chamber....maybe im wrong and had a bad one.....but when i pay good money for ammo i dont whant the gun to wreck it before its even got to the chamber.

i payed £150 for it boxed as new

aint many guns that put a smile on my face but this one has........ and im going to keep it..FOREVER lol

Oh, thats a classic rifle for sure, I have some old Shooting Times going back 40 years or more that have sales adds for those. I am not at all surprised at its performance, Browning make good tools (except T bolt !!).

i spent an hour or two today blatting rats on the feed rides with this ol gun,,, took the scope off and used the open sights to deadly effect

had to see how she shot 'naked' ... no scope no problem, very fine open sights. ... took a cheeky begger sat inside a feeder in the swede at 15ish yards

handles like the bsa cadet i had as a kid

    pure fun this gun.

put about 150 rounds through it

jams.........only on my toast this morning this little gun fed perfectly.

just need to find the perfect scope for it now. i was thinking the bushnell banner compact 4x20??

    what do you folks think.
