LV traders' licences available - just £20 (plus VAT) per 4 hour period

    Sideshoots

There will be a number of sideshoots to keep you entertained on the Sunday

    - The Big Bang, 3 shots for a £1, all those who hit it (BOOM) go into a draw for £20 using a Flacon Prairie .177 rifle.

    - Rapid Fire, use our tame Phoenix 10-shot .22 rifle to knock over the 6 speed plate targets - fastest time wins £20

    - Airgun Darts, highest score achieved with 9 darts using the mighty GAT wins £20

Also Nick Matthews will be offering a FREE optical zero check to all UKAHFT'ers and can optically re-zero your zoom scope to ensure no POI shift whatever the zoom setting you use.
As a special offer Nick will be offering a £10 discount on his scope re-zeroing service (takes about 15 mins)

    Bring Money!

He'll be there Saturday to chat to you / other shooting 'opinion leaders'. He may well be doing the odd scope Saturday PM if people want but mainly on Sunday. I think at this stage it's him seeing if there's sufficient interest.

The technicalities of it were lost on me but I understand he's discussed it with TD and those in the know think it's a good / overdue service he's offering.

When his website's up & running I'll post it here so everyone can have a look

Might as well put it all on one thread.

UKAHFT zero range will be available from 2.00 Saturday on range 2. Range 1 will be an LV members/visitors only plinking range throughout the day. Zero range for members/visitors will be on range 3 as usual.

UKAHFT visitors are welcome to come along and book-in between 2.00 and 4.30 and use the Range 2 zero facilities. If you arrive earlier (and you're all welcome) standard LV visitors rates will apply. Camping vouchers available until 7.30 Saturday.

Just so there's no confusion: on Sunday the UKAHFT rules will apply to the whole ground (particularly the age restrictions) but LV rules about rifle use in carpark, no uncased guns in the clubhouse etc will apply for those areas.

Oh and the 'No Smoking' rule in the woods will be strictly enforced by LV and UKAHFT

Nick has now launched his (early stages) website which explains far better than I did the service he's offering and the benefits of having your scope/rifle sorted.

    http://truescope.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/

Nick's just starting out with this project so I'm sure he'd welcome any feedback - he'll be situated on range 3 with the sideshoots all day on Sunday
