    Thumbs up Posting rifle to Poland ??? anyone ever sent any rifles there

    I've been asked if I will send an MFR I'm selling to Poland
    anyone ever sent any rifles there
    approx. cost ?
    what carrier ?
    and degree of ease/difficulty ?

    any help would be much appreciated

    Used Parcelfarce, cost about £40 depending on weight. Very easy to do. You will have to fill a customs form that they should supply. Since joining the EEC deliveries and customs seem to be much easier.
    One Caveat.. wrap it up well.Oil the gun, then bubble wrap it liberally, in the cardboard box, bubble wrap the outside as well.

    Personally I'd seperate stock and action and tape them together with protection between. Makes a smaller stronger bundle

    It can do, but most people keep the stout Theoben box which is ideal as packaging and is big enough to allow the rifle to stay in one piece. I have found by separating the stock it can be crushed where as the action normally strengthens the inletted part.
    Whichever way you choose, just make sure its bombproof

    Make sure it is insured well. Ihave had problems with parcells going missing to Poland!
