    Some years ago there were some 4mm air rifles available from the far east... dont know very much about them other than they existed...

    i thought maybe that sort of calibre would have a future with airguns 1,000 ft/s could be fun!

    No no Petroc, very good question indeed. Mind you think of the variables.....wind affected.....penetration...effective range (both ft and hunting (shrews).

    5 grain pellet
    2" drop @ 50 yds
    5.5 ft/lbs retained energy.

    I have enough trouble handling girlie .177 pellets anything smaller would be too small to handle.
