J/king, was a good laugh. Not quite the same levels of banter as CSFTA and a hell of a lot more serious

Have you worked it out dropping the worst score?
I tried it and I drop a load of places. Am I bothered? Course I bloody well am!!
Especially as I'm very unlikely to be doing the Meon Valley round and that is likely to be the highest scoring round - as their courses are always a tad easy. So I'm told
The top 3 work out to be....Have you worked it out dropping the worst score?
Clive Turner.........302
Vince Blackman....300
Tom McDonald.....299
With 2 rounds to go its a bit academic at the moment, im just gonna do me best If i can keep my scores at 70+ for the whole winter league i'll be happy
mmmmmm, i feel a 40 shot standing course coming onas their courses are always a tad easy. So I'm told
I know Clive and Tom but who is this 'Vince' bloke?
Good luck on Sunday anyway
I suspect that Newbury will be putting out an awkward course following on from the Basingstoke round there and the recent Wendover and Burnham courses . It hasn't been an easy introduction this year for us newcomers
do you drop the worst score?
Your best 6 scores I believe.

i have heard that as well p1 but that seems stupid as it has never been done in the past. im probably only annoyed as that would take me from first to about 8th probably. the idea of lots of shoots is that the most consistent person wins
It was taken over the whole 7 last year. But last year didnt seem very organised We ended up being given our trophies in a cardboard box at the Bulldog bash
I totally agree Marcus, a few of our best shots have slipped down the board because they didnt make the team, but still shot good scores. Not knocking anyone but i've shot at every event & because the worst score doesn't count it doesn't get shown on the score board ,i know its my own fault for shooting so badly this season but i can't see why it can't be put on the scoreboard .I appreaciate everything that every does it's just a bit off putting seeing zero's on the scoreboard after trying very hard to improve .cheers marcus
Maybe its something that needs sorting for next season.
