Can you use a dead rabbit as bait to attract crows and magpies for more shooting.

Yes, cut its belly open so the guts hang out and make sure the eyes can be seen. Thay seem to like pecking the eyes out, a nice juicy treat for them.

I was nearly chucked because i did this.
I never told him i was baiting and coz i was in a hide. he though i had just left em.

I do this all the time, but I stick my electronic crow decoy pecking away on top of it, then again Ive never done it with the air rifle at close range, only my .222 rem at 250 to 300 yds ish, but yes it does work well.
