    Question Webley Raider 2 shot

A mate asked me to have a look at his Raider 2 shot as accuracy was not good. Had a good go with it and at 15 yds its pellet on pellet then one 3/4" high right then one low. Cleaned the barrel, changed the scope, removed the silencer, removed the 2 shot mechanism, but still the same.
Has anyone any ideas as i'm bam boozled by this unless there's a land in the riffling thats broke.???????????

Nothing to do with pellets here at all mate,

    it's the 2 shot shuttle.

You need to tighten the allen screws on the top of the shuttle to prevent the
    2 point zero.

    Hope this helps.

Nealsey, i removed the 2 shot shuttle all togeter and the problem was still there. Istill think it may be the barrle lands. But thanks for the info.

    Jimmer,

You can prove it easy enough, load the pellets only from the left, one at a time.

You will be able to zero the rifle, until you use the right hand side of the shuttle, then there
will be a second zero established by the right shuttle.

Sam thing happened on my Viper and Venom told me how to sort it out.

Having eliminated those possibilities it's worth looking at the o-ring on the pellet probe.

The action of the shuttle springing across causes wear and tear on this o-ring.
Take the shuttle out and you'll be able to see the probe o-ring and change it.
For this reason it's better not to let the shuttle spring across but take the tension up with your hand when using the second shot.

Thats what it was on mine and it cured it straight away.
Also check the fig. 8 barrel clamp is tight, sometimes it comes loose and it's only secured by one small alen screw in the cylinder end cap.
