There are two types as far as I know, DIN fitting and A Clamp fitting..
The DIN has a female screw that you screw the hose into and the A clamp hose fits over the top and tightens with a hand screw knob..
Not Suitable for 300 Bar
Din Gauges are suitable for 300 Bar
MDE Air Gun Gauges are more compact and only need testing every Five years
Against every 2- 3 years for other types , A & Din

Basically They was made for Diving
300 Bar are more for Air Gunners
20 & 232 are Cheaper as thinner walled than 300 Bar
But 300 Bar holds a lot more Air Under preasure
Not forgetting that most filling stations charge
the same regardless of bottle or Bar load.
