I just use white insulating tape and an indelible marker pen, but with the kit you've got, I'm surprised you need to ask..!

ah ha! Hope the HW45 is performing!
Your work is both good and original. Unfortunately where it is good it is not original, and where it is original it is not good.

    engravers charge about £50
if you measure the distances a printers will mock them up and print off in weatherproof stiky plastic

you will get 4 for £20

Most use white tape arround the wheel and mark offf the distance accordingly. then mark the terret to suit.

I marked mine with diferent coulored sparki' tape.

Zero = 35, a black arrowed piece with a white dot. The same on my E' turret.

40 = A white arrowed piece with a black dot. The same on my E' turret.

45 = A green arrowed piece, the same on my turret.

    If you get my drift.

I was contemplating going down this road as well and thought I would mark the wheel with distance and whereabouts on the mildot scale POI was at 6x say (magn I normally pull the trigger at). Anyone got any views, stupid idea, great idea....etc?

Seen some very nice sidewheels with the lines and numbers machined into them. Someone on here must have one, or know of a shooter with one - looks really trick, but I don't know who actually makes 'em.

    If you go into W.H.Smiths

ask for dry transfer lettering (helvetica medium)

you will probably need two sets, then you rub on with a pencil
use the (l) for straight lines

you can varnish over them, just make sure the wheel is clean ( meths)

    works brilliant

there are some good markings on jon harris wheels. just bought two wheels off him but one of my steyr's is off for milling paint etc . thought i would treat her seeing as though winter leugue is now over,

don't worry bought our lass a walnut whip

will take a look in w h smith, but think i will have a word with a graphics printer i know and see if i could get some sheets made with all the yrd's etc and lines to suit in candy apple or summat,
