    Cheers Pod,

Shall I bring a picnic? if we're going to end up in the wrong wood we might as well have something to eat.
Egg and tomato on wholemeal bread please

I assume I turn left at the confused looking field target shooter standing at the junction reading a map
Do FT shooters get confused? Don't they just blame something? Wind/temperature/pellets... Thats why I like FT - more excuses for pi55-poor performance

See you there, great to here that you can make it

    Sean
Aye - last soaking of the winter At least the wind will dry us out quickly if the rain stops...

I'm just very glad it went to a good home... I will miss that gun but the lure of the MK3 RT was just too much to bear.

Ross, rule 4 of the Winter League rules says:

Shooters may not alter the magnification or parallax position of their scopes or alter the positioning of stock and butt hook attachments. The switching on/off of illuminated reticules is also forbidden.
So if you can't alter the position of your butt hook then as long as its on the rifle at the start....

The track down to the shoot is a bit sticky. If you are concerned that you may not have traction, use the large layby by the road next to the gate with the rat and toilet just visible inside. The shoot begins at the top of the side track we used last year. I wanted to put all the targets out in full view at 30 yards but no one listened to me. So its find your target, if you can, and then kneel on a down hill slope, if you can! Thank the lord I was dropped last weekk. But I shall enjoy my shooters sarnie.
    See you all tomorrow.

Yep a great day apart from that brief shower and the mud. Some hard shots stopping yourself slipping down the hill

Nice to meet rory from Meon who came around with me and Bob. 53 for his first ever hft was very good.

Thanks to kev for the usual high standard of food and drink.

Its a shame its the last shoot A big thanks to all the clubs and especially for North Oxon for sorting the scores out online and so quick - really appreciated!

    Cheers,
    Simon.

P.S. Marcus I assume you made it either that or you werent who I thought you were today?

From the Meonities I like to say many thanks firstly to the North Oxon Crowd for
the time and effort they have put into this and made the winter league fun for all.

Glad you all enjoyed our shoot and hope we made the final shoot a good one to bow this years winter league out on.

Now time to get sixfoot of mud off me gear ready for the Bunny Bash.

    Cheers

    Andy

P.S we have a our first open on the 4th of June up the same woodlands would be good to see you all again then. We will try and work on the mud honest.
