How long was the Engineering degree/diploma?
    What collage/uni did you attend?
and finally show me the qualification cert.

Have to admit i own a IZH61 pushing less than 3FPE and THAT tears through a coke can no probs at all.

I had a cheapo plastic pistol that shot steel bb's THEY went through cans too (food cans like bean tins)

To be as weak as you say it must be sub 3FPE and i would take it back to the shop for repair under warranty.

    Also whats behind the wall?

I hope you have a suitable backstop

Oh and one LAST thing. You claim to be Qualified Engineer and yet you don't know how to repair a simple thing like an Airgun???

When i was working in the Machineshop i would make a MENTAL note of where the screws and pins went and mapped it out for reassembly.

And yet here is an ENGINEER asking for the help of UNQUALIFIED engineers? Hmmm forgive me if i take this with a pinch of salt matey

The best thing you can do is take to your local gun shop they wont charge much to reset the power on your gun.

very nice gun to have so early in your years guess your well over 21 now.
I also live in Cornwall a wonderful place to live been here about 10 years now very lucky .

Just had to say we were all young once and if we are honest wanted the max power out of our gun's .
we didn't care for the law we just wanted power.
I'm an air gunner from the 1960s had air guns before I was legally able to hold one, I brought one over the counter at 15 from a gun dealer wesley's gun shop.
real nice bloke bit of a tyrant at first but could see I was interested.
I asked him how I could bring up the power in my relum tornado, he suggested a mod 50 spring but said i would not be able to fit it.
well I did fit it and took it back to show him we got on really well after that so much so he lent me a book on webley's he had written .
I have a copy still today.

I'd look after your copy of the book you describe. It is something of a rarity as Wesley never wrote a book on webley

You cannot expect us to help you to break the law.
Suppose you tweak the gun. A tweaked Spitfire would not even manage 20shots, before needing refilling with air.
Increasing the power will not make the gun significantly more effective. Your own shooting skills and careful placing of the shot are far more important.

You've asked for help to up the power in an airgun to beyond the legal limit.
You state that you will be hunting game with an air rifle.
We don't give illegal instructions on this reputable web site.

You claim to be a qualified engineer yet are only 17 years old.
Where did you get your engineering degree?
