I have a gauge I can screw into the DIN fitting. Open the valve eh voila! Got it off here from a chap called Les for £20.

I put a blanking plug in the end of my hose and just read the pressure off.

    Seems to work O.K.

Just a St St 1/8 BSP plug. Fits the screw fitting on the end of your hose.

I started a similar thread last year.
Someone made mea a blanking plug that screwed into a male AA plug. Ijust put it in the female on the hose and open the valve fully to read the pressure on the bottle.
Make sure that the male has the ball valve removed or it will hold full pressure!!!
I can't remember who made it for me! But if you search my name for threads you will find the info.
I am using a Blackberry to do this so I can't search myself at the moment
    Cheers

Clubshot sorted me a blanking plug out, the cost was approx £3 posted I think.

Once Bob sees this he will let you know.

You can get them from Pirtek as I did. As Raygun says, it's just a standard 1/8" BSP blanking plug. Email me if you haven't got a local Pirtek or Bob doesn't leap in as I may have a spare.

    Thumbs up

    Following last years interest

    I did get a supply of 1/8 & 1/4 Locking Nut's
Which I have been supplying UK Posted @ £3.00
    Which included a Bonded Washer

Or £8.00 if attached to a Male with No Valve

But a Male with a Valve will do the same
