    US FT Nationals in October

Got a phone call last night from some of the match committee asking me to be a marshall in this years Nationals. I know a couple of you mates usually fly over for the fun, so it'll be great to meet you Russ

Gary , will you be keeping your gun at 12ftlb?.....just wondering as keeping at 12ftlb gives us a distinct disadvantage if the wind blows a bit.

Chris - you should also consider that upping the power will change the characteristics of the gun + all that you know about it when shooting in wind.

If you aren't going to have time to practice with it at 19ftlb then it may be better to shoot at 12ftlb with all the knowledge you have gained about wind etc. You also have a good excuse if you lose

After giving it a bit of thought I'll be missing this one. The HFT is just FT with a low mag scope.

Chris - this is from the web site:

"Targets are set to fall with a kill zone hit from pellets with 4ft lb and greater of energy. If you plan on shooting an airgun with an extremely low muzzle energy please be advised that it may not actuate targets with kill zone hits at longer distances"

Best make sure you don't split any if you are only running 12 ftlb

    Dave.
