He said the BEST chaps
Best is the Nitehunter Pro series. Long life ultra slim battery built into your stock, charger via a port in your stock and a push switch on your stock
Superb kit
Deben tracer atom, for rabbits, BSA system 2lf for rats, both adequate and affordable.
Got a Logun lamp for my night time forays.
Not the greatest distance and the battery life can be a bit on the short side,
but it's light and cheap and works well enough out to 35yds which is more than enough
at night with a sub 12ftlb rifle.

I'm back.
Nite Hunter, better than logun by miles, well 150 yds anyway
Mine is the one with the stock mounted battery pack, still no wires to catch on fences etc

Deben tracer atom pro tactical - no trailing leads, and it has a dimmer switch(offered without the standard battery pack from a certain warehouse The nimH packs were made a few years ago and they're only 1300MAH AA cells... battery capacity technology has leapt forward since then.
There are now 2400mah AA cells with solder tags available to make your own packs, which near doubles the amount of electricity stored in them, and you can add an extra 2 cells to make it a 14.4 volt pack.
The kit is supplied with an extension lead that you can cut into 2 leads - and make a second pack up too - thats two upgrade packs for less than £30 (the difference in cost of buying the kit with the older standard 1300 nimH pack)
However: You need to be adept at soldering and have a darn good soldering iron. then "glue" them together with silicon rubber and wrap them in black tape or heatshrink tubing.
The standard charger can be used - for nearly twice as long.
For anyone interested there is a post (started by me) detailing this on another forum but I still cant explain why it works - it just does! And my brother and I are now using 13 cell packs regularly, but they're now far brighter than we need, and take forever to charge. just stick to 12 cells.
