Wolfe is a little loose in the breech and lets a little puff get past her bolt when she goes off.
Now before you accuse me of being too rough on her and loosening things up unduly, let me point out that the breech sealing problems seem to be worse when big heavy Eun Jin pellets are inserted into her and not so bad with lightweights such as Premiers. Also - she is only the 2nd 35 ft lb Air Wolf sold in the States.
So, titillation (or vulgarity) aside, has anyone else experienced point of impact inconsistency associated with poor breech O-ring sealing?
I have replaced the O-ring with one supplied to me by Daystate of America with little improvement, it is another black "rubber" (BUNA-N?) jobbie indistinguishable from the one that came on the gun. So now I have some 70 and 90 durometer urethane O-rings on order from the local industrial supply company, nos. -018 and -116.
Does anyone know if the 50 and 80 ft lb Air Rangers have the same breech bolt O-ring size as the Wolf?
