    UKAHFT round 3 Lincoln

First off I would like to thank Dave Lock all the committee members and the course setter's for a cracking day being a newbie at this I found it quite a difficult course but loved it was beging to miss the mud anyway far as i can remember there was only 1 or 2 stoppages during round 2 having so few makes it a less frustrating shoot...

Secondley I would like to thank my partner Rosie Hucknell and her mother for a great laugh this afternoon and Rosie (snr) thanks for getting the drinks they were welcome on a warm afternoon...

And lastley the catering was fantastic too never had to wait for more than a few mins for a coffee or somthing to eat

Once again Thanks Lincoln for a great day...

So David, drawing you back to Andy006's post, did you find the bench rest target as easy as he says?

Well done Lincoln, an excellent round. Only one suggestion for next time: please put less adhesive in the mud - it had the consistency and sticking power of baby sh*t!

I told woody not to put that in the mud but he wouldn't have it!

I have brought a lot of lincoln mud home with me-its inside my waterproofs, inside my car (on the windscreen? ), its all over my rifle and having just stripped it its inside it too! But i still can't figure out how i got wetter and dirtier there than at Bolton!
It was a good laugh shooting as the polish squad-was it just coincidence i wonder?
Excellent shoot though and good to see all enjoying it- well done lincoln, good setup and well organised.
Oh and just to make my evening even more enjoyable-my sons kit is in the same state and he has now gone home to his mum-3 guesses who is cleaning all that lot then

You're not trying to say that it's stickier than Shepreth mud, surely?

Thanks all for a great day.

My very first ever national HFT comp.

I joined the Lincs club about 3 weeks ago.

Great day. Shame about one of our peg groups Mk3 failing half way round.

But he seemed able to shoot mine better than me.

    Thanks

    Mark

    Thumbs up

Another cracking shoot, well done Lincoln and well done UKAHFT!

What better way to spending a Sunday that to roll around in the mud and the rain dinking, i mean shooting the tin chickens. Only let down by having to get a very nice man to come and break into my car to retreive the keys from my boot, im a poor excuse of a scouser!

It's not the mud you have to worry about - we have a prone only shot planned with the peg in the middle of a dung heap .

A fantastic day as always at the UKA rounds, well done to all at lincs for a really good course too.
