Which is quite useful if hunting humans It looks good though, have you tried loose strips of camo, like a ghillie suit ?

I used to...... on my SLR ....... but I'm aware that rabbit eyes and human eyes have different properties so really the cam is more about dulling the rifle down than anything else. I used the Flecktarn because I had it, it looked cool and did the job. It's probably totally unneccessary for rabbits....... although corvids would be a different matter..... I'd rather not have anything that could be blown by the wind though..... the movement may give me away.

Most rabbits are not happy when a new bush 'appears' in front of them.... they'll avoid the area until they're sure it won't hurt them. They're aware that people are big and scary..... but they soon learn we're also slow and probably can't catch them.
I don't fancy overheating in a ghillie suit, the sweat would give me away at 200 yds......

No- Mar tape & Camo material

    Hi Jamier.

I've used No-mar tape on my firepower. Purly as yourself can't warrent paying for it to sent to Hydrographics..

At a distance it does look good IMO. However when in close inspection you can see the lines & joins. Also you can still see the shape of the gun.. The feel of the tape on the gun is a bit tacky.

    Firepower side view

    Firepower scope

I'm planning removing the tape & respray the metal work. Including the scope & bipod..

How it used to look note scope & bipod not sprayed..

As like Mad Pierres air-rifle , on my Webley Hawk I used spray paint, scrim netting & material.

    Hawk with cammo components

    Hawk with camo fitted

As you can see it does break up the shape of the gun more so than just the No-mar tape.

    Regards
    Paddy.

you thought of using that superflauge camo clad stuff?
ive had exellent results in the past using it, its water and oilproof and there because its pre cut it doent overlap, and when you remove it you dont get any sticky marks

    Cheers, no problem.

Another tip with the scrim you can cover the lens with it. Reduces glare from the optics with minimal loss of clarity.

Hi its a pack of different size pieces of heatshrink in mossy oak you cut them to approximate size and then use a hairdryer to shrink it to exact size i did a hornet last year its not up to Hydrographics standard but it does a good job of concealing your gun and at £18.99 its less than a tenth of the price

    Very effective.
I'd still be reluctant to use anything sticky on my gun though.
