    beech stock stain suggestions

I was bored, so i've stripped my tx200mk3 stock, left hand beech. I've got a birchwood casey tru-oil bottle that is unopened, so ill have a try with that (normally use danish oil, but i've run out). This is my working and hft rifle so im not after bling.

Im completely undecided on which water based stain to use...in fact ive never stained a stock before. Any suggestions on a good colour/manafacturer stain to use please?
