    can anybody tell me what thay put on a walnut stock

    It would help if you said who.

    If your talking about re-finishing it will depend on what finish you have now and what finish you want.

    I have used danish oil on my original AA310 beech stock to great effect, but on my self made walnut stock, i have used walnut oil.
    One Shot.
